Mental First Aid courses teach participants how to assist people who are developing a mental health problem, experiencing a worsening of an existing mental health problem or in a mental health crisis, until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves.
All trainers are qualified Social Workers with substantial academic training in the field of mental health. This will ensure a safe optimal learning environment where participants can explore all the elements of Mental Health First Aid.

Mark has professional training in Social Network a Master of Science (Mental Health) degree and he is an experienced mental health professional. He has 20 years of experience in mental health settings based in Community Health working in child and family, adolescent, disability and adult mental health settings.
Catherine Fitzgerald (BSW)
Catherine worked extensively in mental health sector in both Inner city & rural & remote locations. Her experience extends across the lifespan working in child, adolescent, and adult mental health services both in the community and inpatient settings.
